CHAPTER NEWSLINE

• The Texas Chapter and Texas Pediatric Society recently named Ben White, M.D., as the 1984 recipient of the Sidney Kaliski Award of Merit. Dr. White was recognized for his efforts in passing the state's child restraint bill. The bill, which became effective late last October, requires use of an approved child restraint seat for children under two years old and seat belts and car sets for children aged two to four.
