`We've had to curtail meeting attendance ...'

Marian G. May M.D., FAAP1

1 Hixson, Tex.

My husband and I applaud the recent letters concerning child care at Academy meetings.

We recently have had to curtail our attendance at meetings because we have the following choice: pay full price for attending half the meeting (since we have to switch off), or jump up during the meeting and run out with our child. We unfortunately have had to substitute CME time with written materials and audiocassettes.
