Headquarters' architecture cited

The AAP headquarters building, constructed from donations pledged during the Growth for the Future campaign, has received another architectural accolade.

Early this month, jurors choosing distinguished design awards for the Chicago Chapter of the American Institute of Architects singled out the AAP headquarters for its 1985 honor award. The award, noting the building's modernist detailing and classical imagery, was presented to the design firm, Hammond Beeby and Babka.
