Immunizations

No. 1, Uniform National Immunizations for School Children. That the American Academy of Pediatrics develop and make available to its membership written information for patients, which emphasizes the risks of vaccine-preventable diseases and weighs the benefits versus the risks of immunization.

No. 7, Review of Polio Immunization Policy, That the Executive Board of the Academy request the Committee on Infectious Diseases to: (1) review the relative merits of live versus inactivated polio vaccines; (2) consider alternative immunization policy options; and (3) outline the rationale for the options(s) the committee recommends.
