Section joins ACOG at meeting

Representatives of the AAP Section on Perinatal Pediatrics discussed management of the high risk perinate during a three-hour session last month at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) District VIII and IX Annual Meeting in Reno, Nev.

Over 150 people attended the session, which marked the first time an AAP section has made a presentation at an ACOG district meeting.

Topics addressed at the session included:

Prenatal and perinatal factors, discussed by Calvin Hobel, M.D., professor, UCLA, Cedars Sinai, and director, Fetal Maternal Medicine, Los Angeles, Calif.;
