Career change: A look at some who've made the move

The reasons pediatricians change careers mid-stream reflect everything from disappointment and frustration to the desire for new challenges and opportunities.

Some pediatricians become disillusioned by the realities of their careers. Others find the opportunity to explore another area that had always interested them. Still others develop new interests.
