Report From San Antonio: 1985 Annual Meeting Highlights-Special Pullout Section

SAN ANTONIO — Pediatricians from across the Americas, gathering here last month for the AAP Annual Meeting, participated in the most in-depth continuing education program offered to child health specialists.

Some 285 hours of seminars and 30 hours of workshops were featured. In addition, Martin H. Smith, M.D., was installed as 1985-86 AAP president, a score of awards honoring scientific achievements and professional contributions were presented, and the newly-chosen candidates for 1987-88 AAP president were revealed: Antoinette Eaton, M.D., and Richard Narkewicz, M.D.
