Proposed federal regulations that would require aspirin makers to place Reye Syndrome warning labels on their products have been approved by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and will be made public this month. Throughout the past year, the federal government has encouraged the aspirin industry to voluntarily label their products regarding the potential dangers of Reye Syndrome.
