Conference to examine role of patient education in pediatrics

The First National Patient Education Conference in Pediatrics will be held May 2-4, 1986, at the Sheraton National Hostel in Arlington, Va.

Aimed at pediatricians and other health care providers, the course will examine, the role of patient education today from the viewpoint of the consumer, the health care professional, the government and private industry. In addition, a series of workshops will discuss strategies to improve patient education and identify resources for programs and materials. The meeting is being sponsored in cooperation with the Academy.
