AMA acts on Academy resolutions

AAP-sponsored resolutions on flexible residency programs and boxing were adopted with amendments during a recent meeting of the American Medical Association (AMA) House of Delegates.

In approving the substitute resolution on flexible or part-time residency programs, the delegates agreed that "the AMA continue to collect data on shared schedule residency positions and that the AMA indicate in the Directory of Residency Training Programs the availability of shared schedule positions in the listings of accredited residency programs."
