Hiring or firing an associate is one of the most important and most difficult decisions you might face as a practicing pediatrician. At best, a new practitioner can bolster your practice by retaining current patients and attracting new people to your office. At worst, your associate might fail to gain the confidence of patients and jeopardize the working relationship you have tried hard to establish.
