Academy arranges local media interviews, informs public on pressing health issues

As part of the Academy's continuing effort to keep the public informed about critical pediatric issues, nearly 70 Academy spokes-persons participated during the past three months in local media interviews on pertussis, DTP shots and immunization.

The interviews, conducted in cities ranging from Scranton, Pa. to Boise, Idaho, were largely the result of the Academy's Wave Placement Program, which is coordinated by the Division of Communications.
