WASHINGTON UPDATE

• Members should write their senators and representatives to urge that they cosponsor resolutions which call upon the Reagan Administration to restore funds appropriated for the National Institutes of Health.

In writing to senators, urge that they cosponsor Senate Joint Resolution 69, which recently was introduced by Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa). Its companion in the lower chamber is House Joint Resolution 136, which was introduced by Rep. Henry A. Waxman (D-Calif.).
