New public education materials on child health issued

Several new Academy publications are available for members interested in enhancing patient education efforts.

The brochures include:

Child Sexual Abuse reviews the history of child sexual abuse, explains its effects, and discusses how abuse can be detected and prevented. The brochure also notes what can be done if abuse is suspected and addresses parents' current concerns about displaying affection toward their children.
