The sales boom of home and business computers in recent years has spurred many physicians to weigh the benefits of "computerizing" their offices. Despite growing interest, computers aren't necessarily for everyone. Computers can't sit down with the parents of an ill child and alleviate the family's fears. Computers can't work miracles by bringing overnight improvement to a poorly organized office. Still, computers can help doctors become better physicians and business managers.
