New guidelines devised for use of Academy's official seal

The AAP Executive Board recently approved new guidelines for use of the AAP seal by Fellows and other organizations. Called the Della Robbia, the seal is officially registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as a service and collective membership mark.

Since the Academy has earned positive national recognition as the source of information on child health care, use of the seal benefits both the Academy and members who display the symbol. In addition, the seal is an important link in the public's perception between individual pediatricians and the Academy.
