• The Wyoming Chapter reports that lawmakers in that western state recently passed child safety restraint legislation — making Wyoming the last state to approve such a bill.

As of July 1, children 2 years old and younger riding in passenger cars with "sufficient space" must be in a child safety restraint system or their parents will face a $25 fine. The bill exempts pickup trucks, vans and cars lacking "sufficient space" to accommodate the safety seats.
