Pediatric residents to receive grants

Nineteen pediatric residents will receive grants from the Academy totaling $47,000 in the 1985-86 year, the Committee on Residency Fellowships recently announced.

The AAP annually awards fellowships to pediatric interns and residents in financial need. The 19 grants awarded this year range from $1,000 to $5,000. Applications from 46 young physicians were received by the committee.

Funds for the grants were made available to the Academy by the McNeil Consumer Products Company, Mead Johnson Nutritional Division and Gerber Products Company,
