New director named to head Office of Development

The Academy's executive staff gained a new member May 1 when Carole L. Corbett joined the central office as director of the Office of Development.

Corbett will establish an ongoing fund raising program to broaden the Academy's base of support and sustain its growth. In addition, she will oversee the completion of the Growth for the Future campaign.

"The Academy's members have shown tremendous commitment to the organization's programs," Corbett told AAP News. "Their level of participation is very encouraging for the Academy's future growth."
