CME course examines apnea, shock, sexual abuse

Physicians are invited to attend the AAP continuing medical education (CME) course "Clinical Pediatrics," June 17 to June 19, in Washington, D.C.

After completing the course, participants will be better able to: identify the causes and treatment options for apnea; recognize the signs of erythema multiforme; identify and be able to discuss monitoring parameters for children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (APHD); review the different types of shock, and be able to rapidly assess a child in impending shock; identify conditions in the pediatric X-ray that mimic pulmonary infection; identify indicators of sexual abuse;
