Political persuasion changes policies

Dear Dr. Lowe:

... I agree with your comments:

"We'll have to continue to work within the political framework to achieve our objectives — We need to explain to (congressmen) what children's health care should be, because many of them don't understand this."

At the age of 76, although I see only occasional patients, I continue to work 40 to 50 hours a week on children's issues which I feel are important. These include recurring ear infections, behavior and learning problems, and autism.
