Siblings' conflict resolution

Parental intervention in sibling fights could benefit children by teaching them conflict resolution skills, according to a Canadian study.

Researchers examined 40 parents' reactions to their 2-to 4-year-old children's conflicts, the conditions under which they intervened, strategies they used and changes in sibling fighting thereafter.
