Forum resolution process lets your voices be heard

Division of State Government and Chapter Affairs

Just what can AAP members do to help shape organizational policy? If you would like your voice heard by AAP leaders, you can do so through the Chapter Forum resolution process. This process was designed to provide all members of the American Academy of Pediatrics with the opportunity to express their interests and concerns to the leadership.

Resolutions are debated by chapter officers at the Annual Chapter Forum each September. Adopted resolutions become the basis for many AAP policies and projects. The 1997 Annual Chapter Forum is scheduled for Sept 12-14 in Rosemont, Ill.
