Referendum to weigh membership expansion Associate and international categories among items members to vote on

AAP Department of Member, State and Chapter Affairs

The AAP Board of Directors has directed that Voting Fellows receive a referendum requesting them to consider a number of changes to the Constitution and bylaws of the American Academy of Pediatrics. While some of the changes are administrative in nature, others, particularly those relating to membership issues, are quite compelling. The Board has requested that the more pertinent issues be addressed in this article to ensure that the membership is apprised. Placement on the referendum denotes sufficient support of the Board of Directors to bring an issue forward for a full membership vote.
