Inner-city minority adolescent girls who are sexually active are at risk for cervical cancer because many are not undergoing Pap screenings, a New Jersey study showed. The study was conducted to assess the pattern of Pap test status and its association with the girls' behaviors, knowledge and beliefs about the test.
