Group income distribution a `sensitive subject'; Deciding what's best requires caution, hard data

Distribution of income in a group practice has a significant impact on its group's financial, programmatic and operational goals. Whatever method is used, it is critical to both the pediatrician and the group's management team that the distribution formula contributes to high quality patient care and financial well-being for the practice.

But beware. The decision to distribute income is a sensitive issue and should be approached with caution and hard data.
