Residents doing `homework' in child advocacy

Future pediatricians are being prepared to be the voice for children through two pediatric child advocacy training programs.

The Community Oriented Advocacy Training (COAT) program was made possible through a Community Access to Child Health (CATCH) planning grant, awarded by the Academy and funded by Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories.
