Dear provider: As everyone knows, HEDIS and NCQA have merged with JCAHO to form the new super-agency NUDNIK the National Utilization and Diagnostic Network for Irrelevant Knowledge. NUDNIK'S first task will be to assess your facility. Assessments will be held on a frequent, random basis in accordance with NUDNIK'S TQI policy (Total Quality Intrusion). In addition to usual CLIA, OSHA and Hedis manuals, NUDNIK providers also will be expected to maintain TQI databases. Records shall be kept in digital format in digital-optical tape mode to be provided at cost (your cost) by NUDNIK. TQI will reflect all appropriate health care indices, e.g. total safety, linguistic competency, client rights and provider responsibilities.
