FDA advisory

No conclusive evidence links protease inhibitor therapy with cases of diabetes and hyperglycemia in HIV-infected patients, the Food and Drug Administration has announced.

The use of protease inhibitors in AIDS "cocktails," and use of additional reducing AIDS deaths 19 percent in the first nine months of 1996, according to the Associated Press.
