On the Health Alert page of the May AAP News, the article "Playing with pets can be doggone dangerous" mentioned that Cat Scratch disease is caused by a "germ" called Rochalimae henselae. The germ name has been changed to Bartonella henselae, because it was found to be closely related to Bartonella quintana. (Red Book 1997).
