Ineffective parenting styles and parental laxness are associated with children's sleep disturbances, according to Washington researchers. Subjects were 80 children consecutively referred to a pediatric sleep disorders clinic, who were separated into three groups and compared with a fourth group of 52 controls representing the general pediatric population.
