Top 10 verbs make parent an `acton' word

I have never been a big fan of New Year's Eve. Probably because my mental review of the previous year has revealed at least as many misses as hits. But as the bell tolls for 1997, we can begin 1998 with optimism about our lives and lifestyles as people and parents.

What is your vision of the future? How do you see yourself and your family in the coming year and beyond? Although most would treat the word parent as a noun, I truly consider it a verb, implying action. As parents, our actions, or inactions, determine what and who our children will become. Here then are my top 10 parent verb suggestions for 1998.
