Free MEDLINE access available

AAP members now have free access to the National Library of Science's MEDLINE to conduct literature searches for clinical practice, research or education. The site can be accessed at www.nlm.nih.gov. In addition to MEDLINE, other resources members can use include an arts and prints collection with over 59,000 images, and health policy and administration information.

PreMedline, a database introduced in August 1996, provides basic citation information and abstracts before the full text articles are prepared and added to MEDLINE.
