AMA resumes collaboration with Academy on E/M comments to HCFA

The Academy and the American Medical Association (AMA) again will be contributing suggestions to the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) on documentation guidelines for evaluation and management services in pediatric practice.

The Academy is taking a proactive role in collaborating with the AMA and its CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) Editorial Panel, which will be compiling comments from the Academy and other specialty societies.
