Tobacco control advocates needed

Gem Benoza

The Academy has joined forces with other national public health organizations in a coalition called ENACT (Effective National Action to Control Tobacco). ENACT's mission is the passage of comprehensive, sustainable, effective, well-funded tobacco control legislation this year.

To achieve this goal, the Academy has been building a network of pediatricians who can help advance the cause. We need AAP members to join this important team. You may be asked to make a phone call or visit your member of Congress, send a letter to the editor of your local newspaper or participate in a local event. The level of involvement is up to you.
