A small child eats at least five times every day, with every mouthful setting patterns and stirring questions that send parents scrambling for a pediatrician's advice. Nutrition is "a high-ticket item," said Katherine Kaufer Christoffel, M.D., M.P.H., FAAP, director of the Nutrition Evaluation Clinic, Children's Memorial Hospital, and professor of pediatrics at North-western University Medical School, Chicago.
