The first tragedy of Jonesboro is appalling and obvious. It involves four murdered girls, one murdered teacher, 11 wounded children and one wounded teacher. Hundreds of children have been directly exposed to a violent event that will haunt them for the rest of their lives. Thousands of families in the community must now figure out a way to come to peace with this and help their children deal with the fear and sadness. The lives of two young boys and their families are ruined. A nation watches all of this with horror, anger and confusion. Why is this happening and will it happen again?
