Baby Doe goes to court

In mid-January, the federal government asked the Supreme Court to empower the government with the ability to order treatment for children born with severe birth defects [unknown] [unknown] that treatment contradicts the decisions of parents and physicians.

The move is the latest battle in the Baby Doe issue, a subject that has demanded the Academy's attention for three years.
