The AAP Committee on Accident and Poison Prevention advises parents to seek medical help by telephoning their pediatrician, local ambulance or hospital if their children develop any of the following: A head injury accompanied by dizziness, vomiting, bleeding or changes in level of alertness; A persistent fever of 104 degrees (F) or more; Diarrhea or vomiting that has led to dehydration;
