What should pediatricians do about teens who drink and drive?

In the February 1986 AAP News we introduced this column as one way for you to communicate with the AAP Executive Board on a variety of issues.

We asked for your thoughts regarding what pediatricians should do about teens who drink and drive. This month, we'd like to share some of the responses we received. Incidentally, the Academy is organizing a mini-task force of eight organizations to pinpoint what can be done, what areas of service need to be developed, and how AAP members can participate. The first meeting of the task force is scheduled for mid-July.
