Richard Narkewicz, M.D., FAAP, has been elected vice AAP president-elect for 1986-87.

Dr. Narkewicz, of Shelbourne, Vt., won the bid for vice president-elect over his opponent Antoinette Parisi Eaton, M.D., FAAP, of Columbus, Ohio. He will take office at the AAP Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., Nov. 1-6, succeeding William C.Montgomery, M.D. Ultimately, Dr. Narkewicz will serve as 1987-88 AAP president.

"I'm elated and pleased at the honor that the Fellows have given to me," Dr. Narkewicz told AAP News. He added that he "looks forward to a challenging two years."
