Forum planned

Child abuse, day care, teen pregnancy and school-based health clinics will be among the topics discussed at the 1986 Chapter Chairmen's Forum, chapter officials gathering at the Spring Meeting decided. The Forum, where chapter officers meet annually to discuss resolutions that are considered when shaping AAP policy, is scheduled for Sept. 18-20. As pictured here, chapter chairmen listen as Allen Harlor, M.D., secretary of the Chapter Chairmen's Committee, reviews recent AAP Executive Board actions. Later, the Chapter Chairmen's Committee, which oversees the Forum, met to discuss several other issues, including: improving communication with the AAP Executive Board; strengthening communication with the grassroots membership; and establishing professional development seminars during the Forum for experienced chapter officers.
