MEFC awards

Through the donations of thousands of dollars from Fellows, the AAP Memorial and Endowment Fund for Children has been able to award 59 grants to date.

Established in 1973 by the AAP Executive Board, the endowment was created to fund investigation and research by practicing pediatricians that will improve the health and welfare of children at the state and local levels.

The number and size of future grants depends entirely on the generosity of contributions to the fund.
