Bylaws revision

AAP President Martin H. Smith, M.D., recently named an ad hoc committee to reevaluate the Academy's Constitution and Bylaws, and recommend necessary amendments. Pending Executive Board approval, the proposed amendments will be presented for adoption on a full membership referendum.

The ad hoc committee is composed of District IX Chairman Birt Harvey, M.D., AAP President-Elect William C. Montgomery, M.D., and Pennsylvania Chapter Chairman Susan Aronson, M.D., who also is a member of the Chapter Chairmen's Committee.
