AAP subcommittee addresses health status of Indian children

The AAP Subcommittee on Indian Health met last month in Albuquerque, N.M., to discuss progress and problems in providing health care to Indian children.

Representatives from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists also attended the meeting, while 26 pediatricians in the Indian Health Services (IHS) met both separately and with the subcommittee to discuss Indian health issues.
