Wyoming showdown: Immunization law threatened

A recent attempt to strengthen the childhood immunization program in Wyoming almost backfired.

The current state law requires immunization for all children under 10 years old and features a 120-day period for parents to comply with the requirement.

The state Department of Health and Human Services wanted to extend the requirement to all children in school up to the twelfth grade and cut the 120-day period to 60 days.
