Child abuse presentation to highlight Annual Meeting

The nation's capital will serve as the setting for learning about what's new in pediatrics when the AAP Annual Meeting convenes Nov. 1-6 in Washington D.C.

Child abuse is one of the leading topics pediatricians will explore through presentations and seminars.

Ruth Kempe, M.D., FAAP, will lead off a series of presentations on child abuse to open the plenary sessions on Nov. 3.

Dr. Kempe is a psychiatrist at C. Henry Kempe National Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect in Denver, Colo.
