Inside look at Capitol Hill among family program highlights

Tributes to the nation's past and testimony to the nation's future provide visitors to Washington, D.C., with a whole variety of sites to explore.

The location of the AAP Annual Meeting, scheduled for Nov. 1-6 in Washington, D.C., offers both memorials to some of the nation's past leaders and opportunities to see where some of the nation's current policy makers shape legislation.

The public transportation system makes it easy to visit Washington's many attractions, but meeting registrants and their families need not do all their traveling on their own. The Academy has planned a number of guided tours inside and outside of Washington, D.C., during the Annual Meeting.
