`Voice' gains place in history

Before the first poster reproduction of the "Voice For Children" montage is sold, the artwork already will have gained a place in history. Here are just a few noteworthy facts about "Voice For Children":

The montage features the work of 69 artists, who added their characters in 43 cities across the nation. It took 11 months to complete the piece. Some 142 flights were needed to transport the artwork back-and-forth. In all, 170,766 miles were flown.

More than 1,300 telephone calls were made to coordinate the project. More than 9,000 minutes of conversation were required.
