Campaign focuses on importance of growth to child's development

Two-thirds of parents think a child's stature affects their personality, but only 37 percent stop to measure their child's height, according to the Human Growth Foundation.

To increase awareness among parents about the importance of growth to a child's development, the foundation is sponsoring Human Growth Week, Sept. 7-14.
